Milford M. Hoffman passed away Friday, December 22 at 10:25 pm CST in the Pineview Good Samaritan nursing home in Valentine, Nebraska. He was born December 26, 1921 in Crookston, Nebraska to John and Myra (Story) Hoffman. He went to school in Crookston and graduated from high school there. After graduating he took many different jobs working around the Sandhills where he met Helen Miller at a social gathering in Hyannis, Nebraska. They wed on March 18, 1944 and were married over fifty years until her death. He was also preceded in death, by his parents and only brother (Willard) and is survived by his two sons, Robert Hoffman and Dale Hoffman and by Robert's two children, Ian Hoffman and Kylie Hoffman. He has lived independently and enjoyed life and good health until very recently and was very glad to be at home in the Sandhills the last few years.

Services will be conducted privately with the family at a later time.
