Velma was born in Okreek, SD on August 12, 1938 to Clarence & Winner (Prue) Night Pipe. She passed away at Winner Regional Nursing Home on October 23, 2017.

She was preceded in death by her parents; Delbert James Reifel and Big Steve DeNoyer, Sr.; children: Crystal Night Pipe, Karen Reifel & Donnie Night Pipe; and siblings: Katie & Berniece Wilcutts, Ben & Wilda Jean Night Pipe, Leona Gareaux and Florine Fast Horse.

She is survived by her children: DeWayne, Elizabeth, Lori, James 'JD', Steve, Tino, Jude, Milani & Barb; 43 grandchildren, many great grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren and siblings: Geri Night Pipe, Gerald Night Pipe, Diana Flood and Lorraine DeNoyer.
