Life Story for Rose Mary Clifford

Rose Mary Clifford was born in Rosebud, SD to Ben and Elizabeth (Colombe) Clifford in 1947. She attended school at St. Francis Mission at the age of 6 and graduated from there in 1965. She attended Marquette University in Milwaukee, WI seeking a degree in nursing. She then returned to South Dakota and attend the University of South Dakota at Vermillion.
Rose was the Director of the Heart of America Indian Center in Kansas City, MO. Then she worked as a social worker in Kansas City for a few years before returning to South Dakota to live with her mother in St. Francis.
Rose was preceded in death by her parents Elizabeth and Ben Clifford, Sr., eldest sister Claudette Sabor, and eldest brother Ben Clifford, Jr.
Rose is survived by her only son, Larry Clifford; her three brothers: John Paul Clifford, Burdette Clifford and Orion Clifford, Sr.; her sister Sarah Arobba; many nieces, nephews, cousins, grandchildren and great grandchildren and many, many hunka relatives.
She is well and alive in the Spirit World in the presence of God and her relatives and friends...
